A trip in the framework of project implementation „Traditional beekeeping: rescue of wild bees in the woods”
The trip took place between 22.09. – 30.09.2014. Among the trip participants were: Jerzy Ługowoj i Jarosław Stocki (Browsk Forest District), Adam Sieńko i Adam Kolator (Augustów Forest District), Jerzy Rzepliński (Supraśl Forest District) and Michał Południk (Makulińskie Forest District)
During the trip the delegation visited following places: Bashkiria National Park (Nugush), Shulgan-Tash Reserve. The participants during the stay have familiarized themselves with the forms of nature conservation both the Russian Federation and Bashkorostan. During daily field trips an unspoiled nature of Bashkiria and a specific culture of southern Urals was learned. One of the elements of the stay was a presentation of honey collection and beehive protection, and visiting the tourist and educational complex dadicated mainly to beekeeping. The participants of the trip were also observers of the annual rivarly between representations of reservation and national parks in the rescue and efficiency competition, which took place in northern Bashkiria.
Strong involvement of parks and resevations' staff in preparation and realization of the stay of foresters of SFRD Białystok.
