Summer beehive curving

Implementation of the project entitled „Traditional beekeeping: rescue of wild bees in the woods” is gaining momentum. Shortly after the project kick-off conference field works began, which are of crucial importance for the whole project. A group of four professional beekeepers from Bashkiria that will carve beehives and behive logs came to Augustów Forest District. During their over a week long visit in Poland they will share their experience also in all partner units – Browsk, Maskulińskie and Supraśl Forestry.

Everyone interested in the practical side of beehive carving is cordially invited to the individual Forest Districts.
