Barciowisko 2014

One-day event aiming to gather the enthusiasts willing to make a beehive hog by themselves. The event promotes beekeeping, draws attention to the issueas related to the role and importance of bees in human life.

Place: Zygmunt August Square in Augustów

Organizer: Augustów Forest District and Augustów Cultural Facilities in Augustów

The Forest District will provide pine logs, secure the participation of sawyers which will preliminarily cut out the holes in logs, some of the tools for beehive log curving, it will prepare the stand to hold competitions in the field of forestry and beekeeping for children and adults. Beekeepers, besides log curving will offer honey and other bee products for sale on special stands.

Beehive logs will be lent to the makers, and mounting and target location of the logs will be agreed with the Forest District.
